Author Guidelines for Scientific: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam

Editor Policies

Scientific: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam is published quarterly, in March, June, September, and December. The journal features articles and papers presenting ideas and research written by experts, educators, practitioners, and reviewers in the field of education, learning, and teaching studies.

General Requirements:

  • Articles should be between 4000 to 7000 words, including bibliography, notes, and tables.

  • Authors must submit a statement affirming that the article has not been previously published in any other publication or in any form.

  • Each article will undergo a plagiarism test.

  • The article consists of 9 components, with no chapter divisions except for the research results and discussion. The section indicators or components in the article can be found in the first sentence of the first paragraph.

The article should be structured as follows:

Title
Maximum 15 words. The title should be written in English, in Palatino Linotype, font size 14, bold, aligned to the left.

Author(s) Name(s)
The author's name should be placed directly beneath the title, in Palatino Linotype, font size 10, bold, with no titles, and the name should not be abbreviated. The institution's name and the author's email address should be placed below the author's name.

Abstract
Maximum 250 words. The abstract should be written in both English and Bahasa Indonesia in one paragraph and should include: the research objectives, research methodology, data analysis, and research findings. The abstract should be typed in Palatino Linotype, font size 10, single-spaced.

Keywords
Maximum of 4 words/phrases.

Introduction
The introduction must be written in capital letters, Palatino Linotype, font size 10, bold. It should contain: the background of the problem, the gap in the problem, the urgency and rationalization of the activity, the solution plan, the objectives of the activity, and the development of the hypothesis.

Method
The research methodology section should explain the following: approach, scope or object, operational definition of each variable/description of the research focus, place, population and sample/informants, main sources and tools, data collection techniques, and data analysis techniques. Written in Palatino Linotype, font size 10, normal style.

Findings and Discussion
The findings should be presented in full and related to the research scope defined earlier. These findings can be complemented with tables, graphs, and/or charts. Each table and image should have a number and title. The results of the data analysis must be explained thoroughly in the article. The discussion section should logically explain the findings, linking them with relevant sources. Written in Palatino Linotype, font size 10, normal style.

Conclusion
The conclusion should briefly summarize the findings and discussion. It should provide the answers to the research questions or objectives of the research. The conclusion should also offer suggestions or contributions to the application or development of the study. Written in Palatino Linotype, font size 10, normal style.

References
The references section should include sources from journals and books published within the last 10 years. References must follow the APA Style. Authors are encouraged to use Mendeley or other similar applications for managing citations.
